How to Add Multiple Data Sets to Your Map
Layers are a powerful tool to use in your maps. They provide you with the ability to transform your maps into visual analysis. Layers give you the ability to change the look of different locations on your map.
For example, say you are going to open a new franchise location for mobile cell phones. You currently own a few franchise locations, and you are looking to find the optimal spot for an additional locations. You also have data list of your customers.
- First, select the New Map option.
- Then, add your existing retail sites to the map as a layer.
- Next, click the green (+) icon next to your map name. This will allow you to add a new layer with your customer information. Now you can change the icons if each layer and see your existing network coverage and identify possible growth opportunities!
